Downloads can be added to the platform in multiple ways, from tiles to buttons.
When creating a new tile, there is an option to create download tiles. This option will allow you to attach an uploaded document to the tile.
When this tile option is selected, click the paper clip icon, located at the top of tile to upload your chosen file. Once uploaded, users will be able to download it to their local machine. You will be able to configure the viewing method of the file, the available viewing methods are:
Preview (PDF Only)
Selecting preview will allow the user to view the PDF in the browser.
Direct
Download will provide the users with the downloadable local file version.
Download buttons can also be added to pages within the portal. When editing content on the portal, click on ‘Add Section’ and select either ‘File Download’ or ‘Content with File Download (Right)’.
Once the section is created, you can upload your file by clicking on the paperclip icon on the left hand side of the page. You will also be able to edit the text within the button. Once users click onto the button it will download the file to their local machine.
