To create a plan for a specific workflow, navigate to the ‘Planning‘ tab of the workflow. If you have the correct permissions, you will be able to create a new plan. Any templates set up can be selected from the dropdown or you can create a plan from scratch.
Once a plan has been set up, tasks can be edited and assigned to specific roles within the workflow. Tasks are clearly listed in both Gantt view and table view, providing flexibility depending on your preference.
To assign tasks to roles, navigate to the plan and click on the edit button at the top right. New or sub-tasks can be created using the ‘+‘ icon under each stage. Edit tasks by clicking on the task. This will open a side panel where you will be able to edit the name, description, due date and assignee.
To set up a plan template, navigate to 'Workflows' under the administration section. From here, select the workflow you would like to create your plan on and select the 'plans' tab. Here you will find a list of all the plans that have been set up for the specific workflow, to create a new one click on the 'New Plan' button.
Once the plan has been created, you can configure the default schedule in days and the role assigned to complete the activity.
To customise the permissions on a plan, navigate to 'workflows' under the administration section and click on the workflow you would like to configure. Navigate to the permissions tab and select the role you would like to amend. From here you can select if the role can edit the plan, only view the plan or not have any access to the plan at all.
