To create a new capture, make sure that you're on the captures page from the navigation bar. From here, you'll be able to select a new capture to create from the drop-down options displayed when the New Capture button is hovered over.
The available list is populated with capture types. You can learn more about capture types by navigating to the page here:
Capture Types.
For a new capture, you'll be required to set a name. Make sure this name is easily identifiable so that it can be edited later on if needed.
You'll also be required to set an owner for the capture and members of the capture. The owner of the capture will be able to see the results, launch a new capture or close the capture, whereas the team members related to the capture will be able to take part in the surveys or have those surveys reassigned to them.
Select the dates for your capture, this will pinpoint the times that the capture will start and when it will end. On some capture templates, users will also be able to select multiple start dates for different stages of the capture. A completion date for your capture is also required, this will ensure that the capture is closed upon reaching the completion date (the same applies to stage-based captures).
You'll also be required to provide a CSV file, this will allow you to import your build data or other information needed for the capture to be set up.
