To create a new capture type, navigate to Capture Types from the navigation bar displayed at the left side of the screen, once here, you will be able to create a new capture type with the options shown in the section below. There is no limit to the amount of Capture Types that can be created by a user or for a location type.
Capture types can be created for any location type, a list of location types available in this example are;
Region
Country
City
Site
From here, you should decide on a name for your new Capture type and what mode you would like the capture to operate on, these can be any of the following:
Questionnaire - Used as a question set that can be scored once the capture is closed.
Data Gathering - Used to gather all of the data points required to update the system.
Data Confirmation - Used to validate the current data stored in the system.
Once you have selected a name for your Capture Types, click Create Capture Type, this will create a new capture and allow you to begin filling it out with questions, boards, cards and other types of information.
Once you have created your New Section of a Capture Type, you will be able to configure what questions are in each section. From here, you will be able to begin filling out the primary areas of your Capture section. Be sure to fill out an appropriate name, description and the position of the section that you would like it to be placed at. You will also have the ability to add expressions to Capture Types which is explained in further detail in the Capture Expressions section of this page.
Once the name, description and position values have been filled, click the Create Capture Section button to save your first section.
When a question has been selected, you will be taken to the question configuration screen, here you will be able to add the information to your question that you require, the information that you'll be required to input will vary between question types, but the Ask, Description, Issues Config and Visual fields will be required throughout all questions.
